Nadaka Defends ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Title at ONE Samurai 1
Japanese star extends undefeated ONE Championship streak with victory over Songchainoi in Tokyo.

Nadaka Yoshinari successfully retained his ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Title with a unanimous decision victory over Songchainoi Kiatsongrit at ONE Samurai 1, held at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan.
The championship bout was contested over five rounds at 52.2kg (115 lbs), with Nadaka delivering another composed and technically dominant performance to secure his first successful world title defence.
With the win, the Japanese superstar improves to 5-0 in ONE Championship and continues his unbeaten run under the promotion’s banner.
Nadaka first captured the ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Title on 16 November 2025 at ONE 173 in Denver, where he defeated Numsurin Chor Ketwina by decision to claim the vacant championship.
Before joining ONE Championship, Nadaka had already established himself as one of the sport’s elite rising stars through an undefeated 8-0 run in the Rajadamnern World Series (RWS). During that period, he captured the Rajadamnern Stadium Super Flyweight title and successfully defended the belt three times.
Across both Muay Thai and kickboxing competition, Nadaka has earned international recognition for his precision striking, high fight IQ and disciplined technical style, cementing his status as one of Japan’s premier combat sports athletes.
Standing opposite him was Songchainoi Kiatsongrit, who entered the contest with an impressive 10-1 record in ONE Championship, built largely through standout performances on the promotion’s ONE Friday Fights series.
The title bout marked Songchainoi’s first opportunity to compete for a ONE world championship, as well as his debut appearance on a numbered ONE Championship event outside of the Friday Fights platform.
Despite a determined performance from the Thai challenger, Nadaka controlled the tempo and exchanges throughout the contest to earn the decision victory after five rounds.
Following the result, Songchainoi’s ONE Championship record moves to 10-2, while Nadaka continues his undefeated streak and remains the reigning ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion.
