Samingdam and Kyaw Swar Win Rematch at ONE Friday Fights 178 After Controversial First Encounter
A rivalry that remains unresolved is set to gain a new chapter at ONE Championship. Samingdam Looksuan and Kyaw Swar Win will share the ring again on November 13 in Bangkok for a rematch that aims to clarify the doubts left by their first meeting.
The bout will be contested under Muay Thai rules in the bantamweight division (135 to 145 pounds) during ONE Friday Fights 178 & The Inner Circle 38 at Lumpinee Stadium. MuayThaiStand refers to the event as “ONE Lumpinee 178.”
On one side is Samingdam, a 24-year-old Thai fighter who is currently enjoying a successful run in the organization. On the other is Kyaw Swar Win, a 25-year-old from Myanmar, eager to avenge the defeat he suffered in March.
First Fight Left Fans Questioning the Outcome
The two faced off on March 20, 2026, at ONE Friday Fights 147 & The Inner Circle 7. Samingdam won by unanimous decision after three closely contested rounds.
However, not everyone agreed with the decision. Kyaw Swar Win pressed the action throughout the three rounds, attempting to impose his pace, and some fans felt he had done enough to secure the victory. The official result, however, remained unchanged: a win for Samingdam.
Now, both fighters have the opportunity to settle the score in the ring, moving beyond the debate over the judges' scorecards.

Representing NF.Looksuan from Chanthaburi, Samingdam boasts ten wins in 13 fights with ONE and is currently on a six-fight winning streak. According to MuayThaiStand, he has not lost in the organization for nearly two years.
His last performance was on May 15 at ONE Friday Fights 154, where he defeated Yodphupa Petkiatpet by unanimous decision. A new victory over Kyaw Swar Win would help silence any lingering questions about their first encounter.
Kyaw Swar Win Seeks Redemption and Revenge
Athlete from Fairtex Training Center, Kyaw Swar Win has had an inconsistent journey in ONE. He debuted on January 23, 2026, at ONE Friday Fights 139, scoring a TKO in the second round against Japan's Muga. His next fight ended in a loss to Samingdam.
He bounced back on June 12, winning against Slatan Jitmuangnon by unanimous decision at ONE Friday Fights 158, but stumbled again on August 21, losing a split decision to Komawut FA Group at ONE Friday Fights 167 & The Inner Circle 27.
In Muay Thai, moving forward does not always equate to scoring more points; the efficiency of strikes, balance, and control of the action also weigh heavily in the judges' decisions. The rematch is a chance for both fighters to demonstrate who can dictate the pace over three rounds.
Where to Watch
ONE Friday Fights 178 & The Inner Circle 38 takes place on Friday, November 13, 2026, at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok. According to MuayThaiStand, the live broadcast is scheduled from 8:30 PM to 11:30 PM (Thailand time).
Fans can catch the action on Facebook ONE Championship Thailand, YouTube ONE Championship, Watch.ONEFC.com (in selected countries), and on Thai channel 7HD (35). Tickets are available through Thai Ticket Major.
With no title on the line, the bout carries another element: the chance to settle a rivalry that began with a unanimous decision but left part of the audience unconvinced.
