A VAR decision stole the spotlight on Thursday night (29) during the Petchyindee event held at Rajadamnern Stadium in Bangkok.

A VAR decision stole the spotlight on Thursday night (29) during the Petchyindee event held at Rajadamnern Stadium in Bangkok. In the sixth fight on the card, Petchchonlanarn emerged victorious after a video review confirmed a low blow delivered by Petcharthur Bangmad Klongtan in the third round. This incident changed a result that had already been announced by the referee and became the main highlight of the event.
The night also featured Adtewada Tor.Surat's victory over Captain Team Adsanpatong in the main event, along with a technical knockout win by Petake Kiatjamroon, a fighter with a history in ONE Championship.
VAR Intervenes and Changes Winner in the Third Round
The most controversial moment occurred in the sixth bout. Petchchonlanarn, from the red corner, was facing Petcharthur Bangmad Klongtan when a blow below the belt proved decisive for the outcome.
Initially, the referee raised the hand of the opponent, as if the fight had already been decided. However, the situation changed when Sia Chot Bangsaen, identified as a member of the red corner, raised the flag requesting a VAR review.
After reviewing the footage, the referee confirmed that Petchchonlanarn had indeed received a blow to the groin. With the foul established, the previous decision was overturned, and Petchchonlanarn was awarded the victory by disqualification in the third round.
This incident placed the officiating under scrutiny. More than just a simple interruption, the review had a direct impact on the official result, transforming an initially announced loss into a victory by disqualification.
Adtewada Defeats Captain Team in Main Event
In the fight that concluded the event, Adtewada Tor.Surat, representing the red corner, triumphed over Captain Team Adsanpatong by decision.
The result was highlighted by the Mr. Pong page, which drew attention to Captain Team's loss on the judges' scorecards.

Petake Wins by TKO and Gains Recognition
Another fighter who stood out at Rajadamnern was Petake Kiatjamroon. With a background in ONE Championship, the blue corner fighter faced Praewprao Petchyindee Academy in the seventh bout of the program.
Petake did not need to leave the outcome to the judges. He won by technical knockout in the second round, marking one of the most significant results of the night.
Shortly after, in the eighth fight, Petchmongkol Samart Payakaroon Gym, from the red corner, defeated Namtaduad Kiatchatchai by points before the main event fighters took the stage.
Knockouts and Decisions Complete the Card
The earlier bouts also produced results through various means. Pinsayam Tor.Niyomchai defeated Atchariya by knockout in the second round, while Ritthidech Sor.Prembut opened the card with a knockout victory over Petchsongpak in the third.
Mose Phayakphuluang, Mangkonyok Thetsaban Khaobangkrak, and Yodseksan each secured their respective wins by points.
In total, the Petchyindee showcased nine fights, featuring judges' decisions, knockouts, a technical knockout, and the disqualification that captured the spotlight.
While Adtewada concluded the event with a victory in the main fight, it was the incident involving Petchchonlanarn and Petcharthur that gave the edition an unusual conclusion: a previously announced decision was overturned following VAR intervention.
