Former Muay Thai multi-champion Jomhod Sit Luang Pi Namfon visited the Thailand Sports Authority (SAT) headquarters in Bangkok to demand a response regarding the delay in payments to teachers and coaches involved in the Muaythai for All program. According to a post from the page มวยสยาม SiamMuay on Thursday (29), these professionals have reportedly gone five months without receiving their salaries.
The demand gained attention on social media after a selfie of the fighter in front of the SAT building was shared. In the image, Jomhod is seen holding a large brown envelope, with the institution's emblem and the Thai flag in the background.
In the post, SiamMuay highlighted the situation of the coaches, reminding that these professionals work hard and also need to pay their bills. This incident draws attention to an issue that extends beyond competitions: the compensation for those who directly teach Muay Thai.
The Muaythai for All initiative is a program by the Thailand Sports Authority, through the Boxing Sports Council, aimed at increasing the number of practitioners and training instructors in the sport.
Previous reports on the program mentioned a salary of approximately 15,000 baht per month for coaches working in Thailand. However, this amount serves only as a reference for the initiative and does not represent a confirmed sum owed to Jomhod.

Who is Jomhod Sit Luang Pi Namfon?
Hailing from Ubon Ratchathani, Jomhod, whose civil name is Sarawut Phanthayung (ศราวุธ พันธยุง), has built a prominent career in Thai Muay Thai. At 37 years old (in September 2025), with over ten championship belts won throughout his career, the fighter also received the Fight of the Year award from Lumpinee Stadium.
Even after so many titles, Jomhod remains active in the ring, participating in RWS Rajadamnern. Outside of competitions, he is also involved in the sport's structure: since July 2023, he has held a Muay Thai promoter license, and in September 2025, he obtained a C coaching license, in addition to running his own camp, จอมโหดศิษย์หลวงพี่น้ำฝน.
The presence of an experienced name in the sport at the SAT headquarters highlights the situation of the professionals responsible for training practitioners and ensuring the continuity of Muay Thai.
As of the time of the post by SiamMuay, there was no information regarding an official response from the SAT to the demand, nor confirmation of when the mentioned payments would be regularized. It was also not disclosed whether Jomhod personally belongs to the group of instructors compensated by Muaythai for All.
