Thai Kids, one of the most prominent youth Muay Thai events in Brazil, will celebrate its 25th edition on November 15 in Cubatão, located on the São Paulo coast. Organized by Portuários Stadium, the event will feature two Grand Prix (GPs), in the men's category up to 55 kg and the women's category up to 50 kg, marking the beginning of a new phase with the endorsement of WMO Brazil (World Muay Thai Organization).
The official announcement of the partnership was made on Friday, November 6, 2026, when WMO Brazil confirmed the inclusion of Portuários Stadium in its circuit of sanctioned events. This initiative broadens the prospects for athletes already competing at Portuários and in competitions promoted by the stadium, creating new opportunities for access to South American and world championships.
Founded in 2015, Portuários Stadium has played a significant role in the development of national Muay Thai, hosting athletes who later gained international recognition. Among them are Allycia Hellen Rodrigues, Júlio Lobo, Emerson Bento, and Luiz Cajaíba, who all participated in the event before making their mark in prominent competitions outside Brazil.
Thai Kids is part of this developmental effort, providing young fighters with the opportunity to gain competitive experience from the grassroots level.
Men's GP to Offer Spot at WMO World Championship in Bangkok
One of the main attractions of Thai Kids 25 will be the men's GP in the up to 55 kg category, featuring four young athletes vying for the title.
Confirmed participants include Ruan Pablo, Arthur Henrique, Augusto Brisolara, and Lucas Monstrinho, who will compete in a GP format tournament.

In addition to the sporting achievement, the champion will receive an invitation letter to join the Brazilian team competing in the WMO World Championship, scheduled for March 2027 in Bangkok, Thailand.
This opportunity adds special significance, directly connecting the Brazilian youth circuit to an international competition in the birthplace of Muay Thai.
For the young participants, the GP represents not only the chance to win a title but also a significant step in their career development and the experience of competing abroad.

The four athletes will compete for the title, showcasing the growing space for women's Muay Thai in the grassroots categories.

The inclusion of a women's GP in the program reinforces Thai Kids' commitment to providing competitive opportunities for both boys and girls, allowing young athletes to develop their skills, gain experience, and build their careers within the sport.
With both tournaments confirmed, the 25th edition will highlight the promotion of new talents and the potential for advancement to larger competitions.
Partnership with WMO Opens New Paths for Young Talents
The endorsement from WMO Brazil represents an important step for Portuários Stadium and, especially, for the athletes participating in its events.
The partnership creates a connection between the national competitive calendar and the international competitions of the organization, allowing young fighters to be observed and considered for future opportunities in South American and world championships.
With Portuários Stadium's integration into the WMO Brazil circuit, Thai Kids also becomes part of a significant moment for identifying and developing new talents, with prospects for participation in international competitions throughout 2027.
The initiative goes beyond merely hosting events or winning titles. The goal is to strengthen a competitive structure capable of supporting the evolution of fighters, from their first experiences to opportunities to represent Brazil in competitions abroad.
Thai Kids 25 Takes Place in Cubatão on November 15
The 25th edition of Thai Kids will be held on Sunday, November 15, starting at 9 AM, at the Esporte Clube Cubatão, located at Rua Belarmino do Amaral, 812, Jardim São Francisco, in Cubatão (SP).
Tickets are priced at R$ 50, and the event will feature both GPs as major highlights of the program.
With the new endorsement from WMO Brazil, Thai Kids 25 marks an important moment for the youth project at Portuários Stadium. The competition will not only provide the experience of stepping into the ring and competing for titles but also concrete prospects for sports development and access to the international scene.
For a new generation of Brazilian fighters, the path to major championships can begin at events like Thai Kids, where early challenges help build the necessary experience to represent the country in more prominent competitions.
