Bampara Kouyate vs. Ricardo Bravo: Clash at ONE Fight Night 50 Could Pave the Way for Title Shot
Bampara Kouyate and Ricardo Bravo, two names in the top 5 of the featherweight division, will face off at ONE Fight Night 50 on December 19 at Lumpinee Stadium.
The path to the ONE Championship featherweight title will feature a significant clash in December. Bampara Kouyate, ranked fifth, will take on Ricardo Bravo, currently fourth, at ONE Fight Night 50, scheduled for December 19 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok. The fight will be contested under Muay Thai rules in the 145 to 155-pound division and could bring the winner closer to a shot at champion Nico Carrillo.
At 31 years old, Kouyate represents both France and Mali and has already fought four times in ONE. He has secured stoppage victories over Luke Lessei and Jo Nattawut but is coming off a setback. In September 2025, he was defeated by TKO in the second round by Shadow Mavinn at ONE Fight Night 35. Now, he aims to regain momentum against another highly ranked opponent.
On the other side is 26-year-old Ricardo Bravo, who has also experienced the ups and downs of the organization. The Argentine gained attention by finishing three consecutive opponents at ONE Lumpinee, a streak that earned him a contract with ONE Championship. However, he then faced three consecutive losses.

Bravo's comeback came in September 2026 at ONE Fight Night 47, where he needed just one round to defeat Mohamed Younes Rabah by TKO, ending his losing streak. This victory put him back on the winning track, and now he seeks another win to strengthen his position in the division.
This matchup carries weight due to the ranking situation. Bravo holds the fourth position, while Kouyate is just behind him in fifth. A victory could represent a significant step for either fighter in the race for the title currently held by Scottish champion Nico Carrillo. However, there is no confirmation that the winner will receive a title shot.
ONE Fight Night 50 takes place on Saturday, December 19, with live coverage from Lumpinee Stadium in the Ram Intra area of Bangkok. The event begins at 9 AM Thailand time and can be watched on Watch.ONEFC.com and through ONE's official Facebook and YouTube channels. Thai television channel 7HD will start its broadcast at 10 AM.
