Marie Ruumet has not yet wrapped up her season. The Estonian fighter, who has a "Thai heart," confirmed she will have one more bout before the end of 2026. As the current women's flyweight champion at Rajadamnern Stadium, she is expected to put her title on the line once again at the RWS (Rajadamnern World Series).
This information was announced on Thursday (29) by the Muay Thai Stand page. Despite the confirmation of her return, her next opponent remains a mystery. What is known is that Ruumet enters this fight on a high note, boasting a perfect season: four fights and four victories.
Her journey began in February when the Estonian defeated Zaidania Looksaikongdin by points on the 28th, claiming the inaugural women's flyweight title at Rajadamnern.
In May, she returned to the ring and won against Jitti, again by judges' decision. The following month, she achieved her only stoppage victory of the season so far: a technical knockout over Roghayeh Mohammadiyan in the third round.

Her most recent performance took place in September against American fighter Desiree Wodicker. Ruumet confirmed her strong form with a unanimous decision victory, winning all three scorecards 49 to 46.
In addition to her in-ring results, the champion has also been racking up impressive numbers outside of it. Just from fight bonuses, Marie has earned over 1 million baht throughout 2026, a significant milestone for the athlete.
With four consecutive victories this year and the title in her possession, Ruumet is preparing for another challenge. A potential title defense would be an opportunity to finish the season with a 100% success rate.
Now, the focus shifts to the announcement of her next matchup. Who will be the chosen opponent to face the champion? And will Marie Ruumet be able to end 2026 undefeated and still holding the Rajadamnern flyweight title?
