Rajadamnern Announces Open Scoring in All Rounds and Reveals Judges' Names Starting November

Rajadamnern Stadium will change how fans follow judges' decisions. Starting this Sunday, November 1, the traditional venue for Thai Muay Thai will display scores at the end of each round and announce the names of the judges officiating the fights.

This new feature follows the model already used by the Rajadamnern World Series (RWS) but will now be applied to the five major promotions held at the stadium: RWS, Rajadamnern Knockout (RKO), Suek Petchyindee Premium, Suek Muay Thai Palangmai, and Suek Tohnamthai Kiatphet.

The rule will apply to events held seven days a week, for both three-round and five-round fights.

In practice, fans will be able to see how judges are scoring each round without having to wait for the final result to know the scores. The identification of the judges responsible for the scores will also be part of this new transparency policy.

This change comes amid discussions about judging criteria and controversies surrounding decisions in Muay Thai. In a sport where balance, clinch control, effective strikes, and fight management can influence scoring, making scores public represents an important step toward greater clarity in judging.

With this measure, Rajadamnern extends a system already in place at RWS to its entire programming, placing the transparency of officiating at the forefront of one of the main showcases of Muay Thai worldwide.
