Rodtang, the 'Tank,' Arrives Determined to Face Nong-O in the ONE Flyweight Grand Prix
Rodtang and Nong-O finally meet at ONE The Inner Circle 38 on November 13 at Lumpinee. According to Mister Pong, the 'Tank' is very determined...

The 'Tank' is revved up. On Monday night (26), Thai journalist Mister Pong reported that after several issues were resolved, Rodtang (รถถัง, "Tank") appears "very determined" for his fight against Nong-O (น้องโอ๋). However, he made sure to warn that the veteran is also tough and hard to beat.
The post included a hashtag that hints at how this duel might end: "Will he fall from a kick or collapse from a punch?" (#โดนเตะร่อนหรือโดนหมัดร่วง). The graphic of the post plays with the question, "Tank very determined, can Nong-O handle it?" According to the text, Mister Pong did not elaborate on what issues were resolved.
This clash features Rodtang Jitmuangnon, the "Iron Man," against Nong-O Hama in the quarterfinals of the 2026 ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix. The fight takes place on November 13, 2026, at ONE The Inner Circle 38, at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok. The tournament includes eight fighters, offers a silver belt, and paves the way for the flyweight world title, currently held by Asadula Imangazaliev.
On paper, it's a battle of giants: 29-year-old Rodtang is a former ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion and ranks second in the standings. Nong-O, at 39, was a bantamweight champion and has made seven title defenses in that category; now competing in the flyweight division, he ranks third.

This story has a previous chapter. The two were supposed to compete for the vacant title at ONE 173 last November, but the fight fell through: according to the Bangkok Post, Rodtang fell ill the week of the event and was hospitalized after making weight, while Nong-O missed weight and failed the hydration test.
Both fighters come into this match with different recent experiences. Rodtang lost by TKO in the fifth round to Takeru Segawa in April at ONE Samurai 1 and renewed his contract with ONE in July. Nong-O was defeated in the second round by Imangazaliev in the fight for the vacant flyweight title.
Now, this matchup is for a spot in the semifinals. Mister Pong's question lingers: who will feel it first, the determined "Tank" or the tough veteran? The answer will come on November 13 at Lumpinee.
