Ronachai Defeats Petchapichat Again on Canal 7, Eyes Rematch for 126 lb Title
Ronachai Wor.Yeejeen once again triumphed over Petchapichat Apichat Muay Thai Gym. In the main event of Muay Thai 7 HD on Sunday, November 1, at the Canal 7 Stadium in Bangkok, Ronachai won by unanimous decision, with all three judges scoring it 49-47 in the 127-pound bout.
This marked Ronachai's second victory over the same opponent in 2026. After the fight, he revealed that he was not in optimal condition and reiterated his goal of reclaiming the 126 lb title from Canal 7, currently held by Chujai.
In the ring, Petchapichat started strong, taking the initiative. In the first two rounds, he advanced with leg kicks, while Ronachai opted for a counter-attacking strategy, utilizing angles, circling out, and landing left kicks with punches ready to counter.
Petchapichat's approach initially pleased bettors; after the second round, he was favored 2-1 in the betting odds, a scenario that balanced out in the third round.
The turning point came in the fourth round. Petchapichat moved in for a clinch, but Ronachai created distance with teeps, pushed back, and countered with kicks. The betting odds shifted to 4-1 in his favor.
In the fifth round, Ronachai controlled the fight with teeps, clinches, and evasive movements, continuing to land left kicks. All three judges scored it 49-47.
